Ann came from MAF in 2000 and has progressed to Cattery Manager which is her main function, assisting in the reception and retail as required. Away from work entertaining on her keyboard and gardening are Ann’s pass times.
Leanne did her veterinary nursing extramurally through Otago Polytechnic and has been working at Vetlife Timaru full time since March 2008. Leanne has 2 dogs, Simba and Jack, and 3 cats – all of which are rescued animals.
Lee has been involved in the veterinary industry for over 30 years, having worked in the Small Animal Hospital at Massey University and as a vet nurse in private practice in Palmerston North. Lee has been with Vetlife since 2002 and is now working in the reception area. Lee has 2 geriatric dogs, 3 cats and various livestock.
Sarah completed her Certificate in Veterinary Nursing through Otago Polytechnic in 2006 and has been working full time at Vetlife since 2006. Sara has 2 cats, 1 dog and has fostered a number of wild baby birds that have found themselves in the clinic.
Thea is our most experienced vet nurse, working at Vetlife Timaru since 2002. She has spent time working in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Liverpool and is currently studying for her Diploma in Business. Thea has 3 dogs, 3 cats and 6 hens.
Tracy initially started as the head nurse at Temuka before moving into Timaru. She has been in New Zealand since March 2008 originating from the UK. Tracy started with Vetlife in June. In her spare time Tracy likes spending time with her husband and young son bike riding and tramping.
Dries qualified at Onderstepoort, South Africa in 1997. He spent 6 years in a busy small animal hospital in Johannesburg. He bought his own companion animal practice in 2003. Dries joined the Vetlife team in March 2009 after moving to New Zealand with his wife, Kristi and two sons Neil (age 6) and Mark (age 3). He enjoys the occasional game of golf and has a keen interest in fishing.
Geoff hails from Christchurch originally but is enjoying settling into the Temuka lifestyle. His veterinary interests include small animal, alpaca and pigs medicine. In his spare time, his interests include reading, running, watching sport and tramping.
