Clinic Manager – Ashburton Branch

Vetlife is a large veterinary practice on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand.   As a result of the continuing expansion of the veterinary business and the need to create more support for colleagues as well as customer focus for clients, we currently have an opportunity for a Clinic Manager at our Ashburton branch.  This is a full time position working with a dedicated and professional team who offer both companion and production animal veterinary services to the surrounding community.  This role requires someone with great communication and people skills, a passion for customer service, and a high level of motivation.

Reporting to the Province Manager, a key focus for this role would be the growth and development of the Ashburton branch.  In addition you would be responsible for the efficient and smooth day to day running of the branch and the delivery of a high quality service to our client base.  This would include having oversight of inventory, retail management, staffing, customer service, workflow and communication.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in organising and managing a team and a strong background in customer service and retail.  It would be an advantage to have an understanding of the veterinary industry or have a rural background.

Business Development Representative – Dunsandel

We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Business Development Representative based our Dunsandel branch.

This position covers the Dunsandel/Rakaia area between Darfield, Springston, and Ashburton.  You will play a key role developing supportive and productive relationships with our existing clients.  You will also develop the client base, initiating new contacts and relationships.  The successful applicant will also interact with field staff from surrounding Vetlife clinics. The role will focus predominantly on our dairy clients.

Applicants must have strong customer service skills, and prior knowledge of animal health is preferable but not essential. A rural background and an understanding of dairy farming would also be beneficial.  Retail experience would also be valuable. On – going professional training and product knowledge are part of the strong personal development ethic of Vetlife.
