The interaction of nutrition with disease and animal performance are an integral part of the recommendations and planning. Vetlife Scientific works directly with veterinarians to ensure that animal health is prioritised by way of a partnership approach, giving well rounded advice.

Vetlife Scientific utilises farm data such as;

  2. pasture and supplement analysis
  3. blood and liver analysis
  4. key productivity data,

This ensures that a full picture of the farm can be obtained to make more informed recommendations better suited to your farming practice. Vetlife Scientific has the discipline of reviewing topical and emerging recommendations allowing independent advice to be offered.

Garth Nielsen-Vold

Garth Graduated Lincoln University in 2005 with a Bachelor in Commerce in Agriculture, majoring in Farm Management. Before starting at Vetlife, Garth travelled all over the world with the highlight working on a Cattle, Horse and Buffalo ranch in South Dakota. Garth started in the Ashburton clinic in January 2009 with the aim to build a large knowledge base in ruminant nutrition and pass that onto Vetlife clients. Garth is practically minded and enjoys working directly with the farmer.
