Amy Avery

Amy graduated from Bristol Vet school in the UK in 2006 and immediately began work in farm animal practice.  She has spent several years practicing in the UK and five years working out of Vetlife Ashburton.  She has now moved to Geraldine with her family and is working 3 days a week in Temuka spending the other days with her young children.  Amy enjoys all aspects of farm animal work and is always looking to learn more.  She is currently studying for an 8-month advanced ruminant nutrition course from Massey.  Previously Amy has completed the advanced mastitis course (Fonterra accredited), the In-calf course and regularly attends other continuing education events. In her own time Amy enjoys running, squash and spending time with the kids.
