Olivia Sutton

Olivia has been a veterinarian at our Dunsandel branch for the last 5 years and has recently decided to move further south. Her main focus is cattle medicine where  she has a keen interest in Calf health and welfare. After seeing the variation in rearing practices amongst farmers over the last few years and with the spotlight on bobby calf welfare in New Zealand, she created and implemented Vetlife’s Future Cow program. This involves on farm discussions and practical education around all aspects of early calf management, disease recognition and treatment; as well as ensuring our farmers and their staffs are up to date with the latest information on their responsibilities for calf welfare.
