With you every step of the way
With such a large team of veterinarians employed in one organisation, our graduates can draw on the extensive range of knowledge and expertise from colleagues only too happy to pass on their knowledge through a mentor programme and in-house education and training. Vetlife also invests in external learning opportunities for career development, with speciality training and conferences both in New Zealand and overseas. Career development is greatly encouraged and being surrounded by top-level professionals is a great motivator. If you’d like to know more, we’d love to chat with you. Just email your CV to Nicola Williams, HR Manager to start the conversation.
Career pathways, best practice training and graduate mentoring
Would you like to work for a veterinary practice that takes the time to get to know you and your aspirations? As a graduate with us, you can benefit from our new graduate mentor programme as well as in-house education and training. We offer:
We take just as good care of each other as we do animals
The aim of the new graduate programme is to provide internal CPD, upskill vets prior to each season and provide an internal support network between vets within Vetlife. No matter a vet’s level of experience, our culture is to help one another whenever needed. We take health and safety and wellbeing very seriously and have our own in-house safety programme to ensure best practice. We also have a wellbeing coordinator who promotes education and offers extra support.
