With a shared passion for the care and protection of vulnerable animals, the SPCA and Vetlife are a natural partnership.
Vetlife is proud to have a long-standing relationship with the SPCA. Our partnership with the SPCA is based on a shared interest in animal welfare. Vetlife has a relocatable building on our Oamaru site which is occupied by the SPCA. As part of our partnership, we assist in SPCA animal adoptions and ensure stray animals that are dropped off to our clinics receive proper care. Vetlife and the SPCA work together in North Otago, Central Otago, Otago, South Canterbury and Canterbury.
Vetlife is proud to provide support to many not-for-profit organisations within our community.
We provide our support in different ways as needed, ranging from veterinary services and treatments, to products and cash sponsorship. The organisations we support are: Street Cats South Canterbury, Pound Paws Rescue, Cat Rescue Wanaka, Queenstown Cat Rescue, Riding for the Disabled – Waikouaiti, Timaru, Central Otago, Oxford Bird Rescue, NZ Raptor Trust, South Canterbury Hunt, Central Otago Hunt and Mid Canterbury Animal Welfare Centre. We also offer fundraising offers to school PTAs.
Vetlife sponsors many causes and will assess sponsorship requests against our values and organisational goals.
At Vetlife, we are the healers and protectors of animals. We align ourselves with causes that are as dedicated to helping animals as we are. As we receive a large volume of requests for sponsorship, we ask applicants to fill in a request form and send it to us. That way, we can prioritise our sponsorships funds and ensure we make the best use of them.
