A training day at Vetlife

Continual learning

As science professionals with expert knowledge, we encourage staff learning and research.

Vetlife is proud to contribute to the veterinary body of learning through research and peer-reviewed academic papers. We enjoy sharing this knowledge at conferences and symposia, and it can come from studies or trials that have been conducted through the company, often in conjunction with major universities. We encourage engagement and the passing on of relevant knowledge and learning to both our farming clients and pet owners. We do this by offering external training on products, services, and initiatives to improve animal health and wellbeing. This might be in the form of an open day, a training evening or by talking to clients when they are in the clinic.

New horizons for international veterinarians

Are you ready for a New Zealand adventure?

New Zealand is known the world over for its outstanding natural scenery, multicultural communities, and relaxed pace of life. We’re blessed in the South Island with an abundance of outdoor pursuits, from surfing to skiing, all on our doorstep. Our attractions include the historic cities of Christchurch and Dunedin, Marlborough’s sun-blessed vineyards and the winter playgrounds of Queenstown and Wanaka. That’s not forgetting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Milford Sound. And, as our team already comprises veterinarians from around the world, you’ll be in good company.

As professional veterinarians are listed on New Zealand’s immigration Green List, qualified veterinarians may be eligible for a work visa and permit. As an accredited employer, we offer successful job applicants assistance with their visa applications, however, we recommend checking eligibility with New Zealand immigration
