Our Banks Peninsula clinic in Little River covers the entire Banks Peninsula area, looking after pets, lifestyle block and production animals.
We are conveniently situated right in the centre of Little River on State Highway 75 on the way to the Bays. With many locally based caring staff, we can service the needs of the whole community. Vetlife Banks Peninsula run a homecall pet clinic in Akaroa subject to demand – call to express your interest. Our team of dedicated veterinarians is available to help your animals, including one with a special interest in surgeries and orthopaedics.
A modern, fully equipped clinic provides a variety of quality services.
The clinic was recently updated in 2018 and now offers full in-house laboratory services, digital x-rays, in-clinic surgery (including orthopaedic and recovery suite), dental services and consultation rooms. We offer a full suite of treatments and services including nutrition, drenching advice, pregnancy diagnosis, a range of special dietary products and a cat clipping service. Routine treatments include vaccinations, flea and worming treatments, dental checks, de-sexing, and microchipping. A range of prescription and standard, high-quality dietary products are available. The clinic is also equipped with power tools for equine dentals and can offer distal limb x-rays on-site. Our production animal team has the equipment, technology and knowledge to help you on-farm.
