Formerly known as Murrays Veterinary Clinic, Vetlife Murrays has been servicing Dunedin and the greater Taieri areas including Mosgiel, Outram, Middlemarch and Hindon since being founded in 1963.
At Vetlife Murrays, you can expect friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable care for all types of animals. Our passionate veterinary team includes skilled vet technicians, vet nurses and vet nurse assistants as well as dog grooming services. The current purpose-built clinic opened in 2011 and features a modern operating theatre, preparation area, dental area and consultation rooms along with state of art diagnostic equipment. The clinic is safe and easy to get around with separate cat and dog wards, and heated cages on ground level.
Vetlife Murrays offers a comprehensive range of veterinarian services, from household, avian and exotic pets, to working dogs, lifestyle animals and production animals.
Our caring companion animal vets work to stay ahead of health issues as your pet ages so they can enjoy an optimum life for as long as possible. The companion animal (pet) services include consultations by appointment, medical care, full general and orthopaedic surgery, dentistry, in-house diagnostics and x-ray facilities, allowing us to complete all medical procedures and surgeries for pets on-site. Our production animal colleagues can come to your farm or lifestyle block to give individualised advice to fulfill your animal health and production goals. This includes parasite management, trace element monitoring, pregnancy testing, animal health planning, milk quality, lameness and on-farm training. We also offer equine vet services, at your stables, including diagnostic imaging, vaccinations, dentals, lameness exams, sport horse preseason checks and reproduction scanning.
