Formerly known as Murrays Veterinary Clinic, Vetlife Murrays has been servicing Dunedin and the greater Taieri areas including Mosgiel, Outram, Middlemarch and Hindon since being founded in 1963.
At Vetlife Murrays, you can expect friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable care for all types of animals. Our passionate veterinary team includes skilled vet technicians, vet nurses and vet nurse assistants as well as dog grooming services. The current purpose-built clinic opened in 2011 and features a modern operating theatre, preparation area, dental area and consultation rooms along with state of art diagnostic equipment. The clinic is safe and easy to get around with separate cat and dog wards, and heated cages on ground level.
Vetlife Murrays offers a comprehensive range of veterinarian services, from household, avian and exotic pets, to working dogs, lifestyle animals and production animals.
Vetlife Murrays caters for all animals, large and small, including sheep, beef, dairy and deer with a focus on preventative care. We work with farmers to establish your individual farming needs and develop a tailored animal health plan. For sheep farmers we can assist with effective parasitic prevention strategies, including faecal egg count reduction tests and drench checks. We provide dairy and beef farmers with up-to-date heifer synchrony programmes, non-cycling programmes, metrichecking and live animal liver biopsy for trace elements. For pets we can assist with vaccinations, microchipping, flea and worm treatments, weight loss, dental care and toilet training.
