Vetlife New Brighton is a highly experienced companion animal veterinary clinic with a convenient central location in New Brighton, Christchurch. Formerly New Brighton Mall Vet and Pet Centre, our focus remains on improving the health and well-being of your precious pet just as it has for the last three decades. Your pet’s best interests are of paramount importance to us and our compassionate team goes to great lengths to deliver the highest standards of veterinary care. We have on-site surgical, laboratory, and X-ray facilities. While in our care, your pet will be monitored by a dedicated surgical vet nurse with advanced monitoring equipment throughout the surgery. We also have generously sized recovery cages with soft bedding and heating for the comfort of your pets, as well as a separate cat ward to aid a low-stress stay for our feline patients.
Our companion animal team have a wide breadth of experience
This includes routine surgical desexing, microchipping and cat grooming, to orthopaedic procedures, removal of growths, wound repair and reconstruction. We offer dental care and routinely help our patients with their oral health by ultrasonically descaling and polishing teeth. In clinic you will find an assortment of premium pet products, including food, to assist with your pet’s health, wellness and nutrition needs. Our clients also benefit from fast turnaround of lab results with in-house laboratory and diagnostic tests at the clinic. Plus, we also have a strong veterinary network we can call on where needed for more specialist advice or tests are required.

Monday to Friday: 8am – 7pm
Saturday: 9am – 2pm.
