Built in 2015, our fully stocked clinic has modern equipment and facilities.
The Vetlife Temuka clinic is in the heart of South Canterbury dairy country and services all species of animals. We have vets, assisted by qualified vet nurses, who deal solely with pets such as cats and dogs, and vets, assisted by technicians and a field representative, servicing livestock and farms. Our shop stocks a wide range of products, from dog food and toys through to drenches for cattle and sheep. Our small animal clinic has separate sterile and non-surgical rooms and offers a wide range of diagnostic equipment including x-ray facilities and in-house blood analysis for both pets and livestock.
A variety of services are provided for production animals, lifestyle block animals and pets.
We offer a range of services such as consultations, treatments, surgery, dental services and puppy preschool. Our Temuka clinic has an in-house laboratory, allowing us to provide a number of tests including faecal egg counts, milk sample bacteriology and feed nitrate levels. Vetlife Temuka has a dedicated production animal team comprised of vets and technicians. We can come on-farm to offer a variety of advice for dairy, sheep and beef farms on issues such as reproduction, mastitis, diseases and parasites. We can also arrange delivery of production animal products for our clients.
